3. Tourist Visa
Ordinary Bangladeshi passport holders are required to obtain a Singapore entry visa before traveling to Singapore for tourism. Holders of Bangladeshi diplomatic and official passports are exempt from the visa requirement according to the Singapore High Commission in Dhaka.
Singapore visa applications in Bangladesh are submitted online through Authorised Visa Agents (AVA) appointed by the Singapore Overseas Mission in Dhaka.
For a Social Visit, a Letter of Introduction (LOI) may be issued by a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old and can act as the local contact.
A Singapore visa is a pre-entry permission to travel to Singapore and seek entry. It is not an immigration pass and does not guarantee entry into Singapore. The final decision regarding entry and the period of stay is determined by Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at the point of entry.
